Gregale sea-wave

Huge waves caused by a Bora gale force wind, ie: a N by E Force 8 wind over the coastal areas of Malta`s Eastern side. The weather situation is explained here. Apart from the waves, this wind had also induced `lake-effect` cumulus and stratocumulus clouds due to the sea`s thermal heating as can be observed in the photo herewith and especially through the visible satellite image. All pictures were taken from Xgħajra, Malta.
