Video depicting the very strong winds (at least Force 8-9) during the passage of a cold front over the Maltese Islands. Despite the rigorous cold front that just had passed, only cumulus clouds had formed perhaps due to the relative dryness of the airmasses involved and limited instability. Having said that, temperatures still managed to plummet from 18C in the morning to around 12C in broad afternoon daylight. The visible satellite image clearly depict the whole frontal cloud system at 10AM which then passed over the Maltese Islands during the early part of the afternoon. Watch video here.
