Lightning strikes of the first severe thunderstorms. A video taken at 19:30 CEST shows severe wind gusts (Force 10) caused by the first thunderstorm of the season due to a cold front passing over the area and which had intensified due to the warm Mediterranean Sea. The weather sounding showed a lot of wind shear and instability on the 2nd and 3rd September 2012.Furthermore, the rainfall radar confirms the severity of the storm.
