Solar halo

A beautiful halo around the sun caused by very thin high clouds in the upper levels of the atmosphere at an altitude of above 8km. Meteorologically, this indicates the arrival of a frontal system hence deteriorating weather which proved true in the following hours. The surface pressure chart depicts this information combined with the weather sounding which showed a very humid but stable airmass within the 350mb and 250mb altitude.
