Sirocco swells
/ 0 Comments / in Misc, Random WeatherRough sea at Il-Hofriet (near Delimara) due to an unseasonable strong Force 6 SSE wind. It also brought lots of desert dust, blood rain and unseasonably warm temperatures especially during the previous night. The geographical structure of the area tends to funnel the waves which makes them taller. The reason was due to the jet stream which was coming off the Sahara desert.
