Hazy atmosphere

Lots of haze caused by suspended desert dust due to wind coming off from the Sahara desert as the Maltese Islands were influenced by a large upper trough. The day was also unseasonably warm. High-level clouds may have also been present on the day. Thunderstorms in the vicinity had occured during that night as the low pressure moved eastwards closer to Malta.
