As duplicatus

Altostratus which have formed at various layers of the atmosphere due to very moist but stable airmasses as indicated in the weather sounding. The top part of this cloud looks like some form of kelvin helmoltz instability but due to lack of data this phenomena could not be accurately confirmed. It could also have been due to the air in parts of the cloud becoming slightly unstable.
