/ 3 Comments / in Cirrus, High LevelsFormation of cirrus clouds breaking up into smaller pieces of clouds probably due to a strong jet stream as indicated by the weather sounding. No particular weather feautures were present and in fact this cloud was classified as such with difficulty as it seemed to belong to no sub-species.
