Lenticular shaped clouds although Malta does not have any mountains. This photo was posted on Accuweather.com facebook page who told me that the cloud `Looks like `stacked lenticulars` (Altocumulus Lenticularis) although I wonder why they are only in that one place. Is there a mountain or Island there? They usually do not stack that high.` A weather sounding is included for illustration purposes.
