A panoramic photo showing a solid sheet of gray mid-level clouds that were formed in an unstable airmass. The weather sounding indicated some wind-shear at around 850mb height hence they seem a little bit wavy as the light air was rotating slightly. In fact, the surface pressure chart showed a line of bad weather near the Maltese Islands.
