Ac castellanus

Formation of mid-level clouds, made more beautiful by the setting sun, due to the approach of a mid-level trough (see 500mb chart). Lots of instability was available above 3km above sea-level, second Level of Free Convection (LFC) at 700mb height hence making these clouds look like growing turrents.
