Cu congestus

Large cumulus congestus cloud with a cumuliform “anvil” as a surface low pressure area covers Malta on the day. The anvil might indicate that the rising bubble of air had lost its buoyancy (ie: the ability to continue rising) despite the sounding showing an end Level of Free Convection (lfc-el) at around 8.3km.
