Formation of cumulus with falling rainfall hence the sub-species `praecipitatio`. The day was yet again dominated by the inflow of a cold airmass over a warmer sea surface igniting convective instability hence the formation of such clouds. This cold air via a `Mistral` wind was driven by an undulating jet stream as seen on the second thumbnail. The first thumbnail shows another photo of cumulus cloud formed on the same day.
