Cu radiatus

Formation of a line of cumulus congestus mediocris clouds following the passage of a cold front over the Islands along with a cold Mistral wind contrasting with a relatively warm sea creating uncapped instability as per weather sounding on the 2nd thumbnail. The low pressure system tracked further northnortheastwards dragging lines of cumulus clouds over the Islands as evidenced by the visible satellite image on the 3rd thumbnail. Such cloud formations are typical of post cold front mid-latitude cyclone. The first thumbnail shows a single shot of the passind cloud street that continued to grow to produce rain showers with small hail.
