Post-frontal clouds later in the morning after the passage of the occluded front. High-level clouds (not photographed) was also noticed at the time. Then this seemed to be similar to the after effects of a cold front after the introduced cold air contrasts with the warm surface producing such clouds. Notice on the weather sounding, how the air at mid and upper levels had dried quickly and that the lapse rate at the surface had increased slightly hence confirming my thaughts that the front was actually cold occluded.
