Cb incus
/ 0 Comments / in All Levels, CumulonimbusThe cumulus in the first thumbnail most probably become a cumulonimbus incus. This was due to the instability present over the Maltese Islands despite being the `cool` season. A cumulonimbus capillatus was also observed in the same area, second thumbnail, the difference was its upper part being a fibrous cloud mass rather than anvil-like. High-level clouds were also observed either due to remnants of cumuliform clouds or most probably due to lots of moisture and turbulence in the upper levels of the atmosphere.
